What is Triple P?

Triple P stands for "Positive Parenting Program." It is a research-based parenting program that has benefited tens of thousands of parents worldwide, for more than 30 years.  And the best part is, it works!

Services Available in Solano County

Triple P services are delivered in different formats, called "levels." The following Triple P levels are available in Solano County:


Level 2 Seminars: Group format for parents who are generally coping well but have one or two concerns.
Topics include:
- The Power of Positive Parenting
- Raising Confident, Competent Children
- Raising Resilient Children

Level 3 Primary: One-on-One format that assist parents in developing a plan to manage their children’s behavior issues and skill development concerns. 3 – 4 one-on-one sessions.

Level 4 Group: Small groups of 6-12 parents that discuss common parenting concerns.

 
Level 4 Standard: One-on-One format of broad-based parenting support and intervention. Parent identifies  causes of child behavior problems and set their own goals for change. 10 one-on-one sessions, including home visits.

Cost

All Triple P services are offered at no cost to parents, through funding from First5 Solano.
